This morning gave me a awesome new trick in Photoshop, as i didn't know yet about Layer Comps i was suppriced that it holds your states, position and blending options of all your layers in the psd file. This means you can create different setups in one photoshop file to show off to your clients. It also means, that you can work quicker and keep it all closer less psd files which will decrease errors. It's like version controle in Photoshop.
So go look at the great video about Layer Comps from the Lyda Photoshop top 40 series.
It's fun to see how people suddenldy know how to take the stairs or clean up after themselfs, when the get rewarded for it. It let's us see that we sometimes need to stimulate the heard to help them to do something good. This can also be a lesson for us to use in webdesign or product launches, but with all great power comes great responsibility. Haha.
One of the thing i keep running in to is that when you say to quickly yes, things don't get exacly to where they need to go. But saying yes can give a lot of new opportuninties, but it's get down to know when to say yes and now. A video below of Steve Jobs about focus can help you a get started.
Two weeks ago i bought my new Macbook Pro 15 inch, but is was even slower than my 2,5 year laptop pc. A real bummer, but thanks as alway to a communnity i got it solved. I noticed that my Ram memory was really low and the waiting icon just kept showing up.
Google and the community of Apple solved it, only some say it's temporary and comes back again. But for now, give it a try and maby it helps you to.
Even do it said it was ok, the repair still helped boosting my Macbook Pro with OS lion to normal speed.
Just views this video over at iPad blog, great to see analog and digital working together. I can see this being a succes for the playtime of the son and father, which both intressed getting combined by the game.
Just saw this cool way to find new clients through twitter, it uses the same tactic as when you styling you Facebook Profile or company page by using the space you have in the most creative way possible. View the below video for a demonstration. The idea is thought of by Bas van de Poel and Daan van Dam from Wonder Years.
