Working with Drupal on a localhost on your computer can bring some problems with it, like clean urls won't work and/ or Drupal itself won't work at all on your version of Wamp. So today i post some solutions on the blog for you to get started.
I like to start a project on my localhost because it works faster the uploading all the files over and over again so how do we get Drupal working on Wamp.
First you need the following version of Wamp installed, " WampServer2.0h " to get your Drupal installation up and running. Because newer version of Wamp contain php and mysql versions that Drupal 6 isn't supporting. For Drupal 7 this shouldn't be a problem i think.
Secondly you have to enable clean urls. If Drupal says you host isn't supporting the enable clean urls functionality then you have to change the following setting. Go to the Wamp icon in the right bottom corner of your screen and click on it.
All set and done, now you can refresh your Wamp server and your settingspage to see that enable clean urls is now available. Good luck with working on your own Drupal projects!
